Mental Abuse is just as bad as Physical Abuse

The judge struck the gavel on her table, the case was adjourned to a fortnight from now, and meanwhile, she ordered the serene looking slender spouse to be remanded in custody till the determination of the case and charges leveled against him.

Abuse is one of the most common causes of separation between couples in the world, while cases of physical abuse can and have been prosecuted, it is almost hard to prove incidents related to mental abuse because of the lack of physical /telltale signs of damage to property or physical injury.

Abuse is one of the most common causes of separation between couples in the world, while cases of physical abuse can and have been prosecuted, it is almost hard to prove incidents related to mental abuse because of the lack of physical /telltale signs of damage to property or physical injury.

However, this unique situation which made headline was a case of mental abuse which had gone on for too long and for sure had gone too far.

The accused was charged for culpable and involuntary homicide, his wife had been found in the basement hanging by a rope, dead from a broken neck and all fingers were pointed at the spouse whom may have termed a psychopath.

They had been married for an extremely short period: barely nine months, no kids but plenty of drama to have ensued.

According to recordings been submitted by the lawyers of the accusers, the husband of the dead woman interestingly never raised a finger to beat her but blamed her for everything, from his joblessness to their perennial childlessness to her obesity.

I just wanted her to get better; I want us to get back to those moments before we were wedded, I just want us to be like other couples, maybe I asked too much, all I did I did for love

These were the words of the accused, the words of the husband of the abused, for many, they believe the case is not applicable, for many they think the case should be thrown out: time will tell.
