How Hard is it for Single Parents?

Many people do not realize how hard it is being a single parent weather they are working or not. It naturally takes two parents to raise a child under normal circumstances for focus and direction through decision making of the two, but when there is only one parent in the household that parent has so much deal with and think about trying to make all of the right choices.

Although all choices made will not turn out exactly the way they would like them to, these choices are made in the best interest of the child. Raising a child alone can become very overwhelming no matter how much you try to work through your day because when at one time all you had to do before you had children was worry about yourself, now you have worry about the child and you find yourself putting you on the back burning. Almost forget about yourself. At one point or another you actually lose yourself in your children because you want want is best for them. They change you because of the things they do, they also change you because of the things they don’t do and not because they want to throw your feeling and emotion off, it’s because they are just children and some parents tend to forget that being so wrapped up in their thinking world of confusion at times.

When a single parent has to work and drop off the child to daycare and pick them up after work to get home from a aggravating day of work having to focus and make sure your child day went OK and prepare food and bath for the child is something in itself. I feel like there is nothing harder than raising a child as a single parent. I love children but know that they need around the clock attention and if they get sick on you, that is a whole other level to deal with. Anyone care to chime in on their opinions on this subject?
